The contest is put on by the state to encourage kids to get involved in art and nature. The winner of the state contest wins a trip to Washington D.C. to compete in the national contest. The national winner’s entry is made into a conservation stamp which is sold to the public. The workshop is open to kids from kindergarten to grade six and will be held on three consecutive Saturdays.
