The Indiana Wine Trail warms up hearts and tummies with its’ third annual “Souper Saturday” on February 23rd.  To help you escape the usual cold, wet weather, Ertel Cellars Winery and Restaurant, Lanthier Winery, Madison Vineyards Estate Winery, The Ridge Winery, Stream Cliff Farm Winery and The Thomas Family Winery will offer samples of fine soups and other concoctions designed to show off their wines and warm folk’s hearts!

“Zuppa al Toscana will be our treat, it’s a sausage, potato and wine soup !“ said Sandy Palmer of Madison Vineyards.  Stream Cliff Farms and Winery’s Rosemary Chicken Soup promises to a glimpse of Spring.  The Broccoli Cheese soup from The Ridge Winery has always been a crowd pleaser.  Mock Turtle Soup, a chicken twist on the French classic will be the treat at Thomas Family Winery.  Be sure to watch for the surprises from Ertels Vineyards, Winery and Bistro and Lanthier Winery!

So mark your calendars for February 23rd, as well as April 20th-21st when the Indiana Wine Trail showcases “ Spring into the Valley”, a celebration of  Bread and Cheese, and Spring’s warm weather, green leaves and beautiful flowers.
