The Warfighter Project is working with sponsors Steel & Steam Coffee Co and Hot Coffee to bring the Inaugural Memorial Day Ruck to Madison this Memorial Day! You will have an opportunity to participate in providing an honoring place to lay our veterans to rest.

What is rucking? 
It’s simple: backpack + weight + walking

This event includes:
– a ruck (walk) from the Veteran’s Cemetery with a ceremonial finish at Bicentennial Park
– each participant will be offered the honor to carry the American flag during the walk
– ruck with or without weight: just walk with us!
– refreshments provided by Steel & Steam Coffee & Hot Coffee at the completion of the ruck
– 100% of the money raised goes directly to the Indiana Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery to provide a place of honor for those who served
