Campsite Decorating Contest – Go all out and decorate your campsite for Halloween. Decorating must be complete by 5pm. Sites will be judged Saturday evening and awards will be personally delivered to your campsite between 7:30-8pm.

10-11am Pumpkin Painting – Come to Clifty Shelter and paint a pumpkin. Cost is $1/pumpkin, or you can bring your own.

11am Halloween Story-time – Come to the Nature Center as our volunteer Marie reads some kid friendly Halloween stories. This program will take about 15 minutes.

2-3pm Halloween Crafts – Come to the Nature Center to make some fun Halloween crafts to decorate with.

4pm Costume Contest – Put on your costume and come to the Campground Amphitheater. Costumes will be judged by age groups and winners announced immediately following the contest. There’s even a contest for pets, so bring them too! In the event of rain, we will hold this activity at Clifty shelter.

6-7:30pm Trick-or-Treat – Go trick-or-treating in the Campground. The campground roads will be closed for everyone’s safety during this time. This is not open to the public; it is for campers and Inn guests only.

6-8pm Hay Rides – Enjoy a hay ride through the park! Come to the pool anytime between 6-8pm to climb aboard. The cost is $5/person, cash only. Kids 3 and under are free. No pets please. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Clifty Falls State Park.

10am-3pm Fall Photo Scavenger Hunt – Stop by the Nature Center to pick up your scavenger hunt sheet and then head out onto the trails to see if you can get a picture of everything on the list. Return to the Nature Center and show the naturalist your photos to win a prize!
