A celebration of the beauty and history of the Ohio Valley through Poetry, Art and Music, Session 2 of the series, “Quest for Freedom” will focus on stories of the underground railroad era and the spirit of freedom.

Featuring Indiana Poet Laureate Curtis L. Crisler, Singer Katrina Harper, Historian Glory June Greiff, Music by Cheryl Byers, Poet Rita Spaulding, “Meet Patsy Harris, Wife of Underground Railroad Conductor Chapman Harris” living history presented by Lillian Sue Livers. Plein aire painters & art exhibit including works by Betty Manning, Brenda Guess Shropshire, Patty Cooper Wells, Kevin Carlson, Karen Chilman, Jacob Louden, Harry Elburg and more! Program made possible by a grant from the Jefferson County Board of Tourism.
