Irish Heritage Celebration at St. Michael’s
Irish Heritage Celebration at St. Michael’s

Madison’s rich Irish history is worth celebrating, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Step inside St. Michael the Archangel on Sunday, March 8, from 1 to 3:30 to join the celebration and explore this historic space. Historic Madison, Inc., the Ohio Valley Celtic Society, and the Madison Ulster Project will all be present for this free event. Visitors are encouraged to attend with many opportunities for fun, including: tasting a selection of Irish teas and treats courtesy of the Ohio Valley Celtic Society, learning how to get involved with the Madison Ulster project this summer, listening to the historic Tracker organ play, attending the poetry reading and art show with Rosaleen Crowley, and searching the space for its historic stories and architecture. It will be a fun event for all ages!
The event will take place inside St. Michael the Archangel, located at 519 East Third Street in Madison. Admission is free with recommended donations for visiting and enjoying the refreshments. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Ohio Valley Celtic Society and restoration efforts for St. Michael’s. Don’t miss this fun opportunity!
