We know how to throw a party! We’ve been doing this since 1809….there is ALWAYS something to do when you come to Madison. There are home tours, music events, garden tours, holiday events, arts/crafts shows, 5Ks, car shows, food & wine tastings – just to name a few.
Our largest events include RiverRoots Music and Folk Arts Festival, Madison Regatta, Madison Ribberfest BBQ & Blues, Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art, Soup, Stew, Chili & Brew Festival and Nights Before Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes.
Music at the Mansion | Featuring Walnut St. Blues

FreeWalnut St. Blues will perform on the Lanier Mansion grounds. Originally formed by patriarch Foree Wells in 1989, along with sons Michael, Greg, and Foree III, this rhythm and blues family band now features the incredible lead vocals of Artie Wells.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets. This concert, in part, is made possible by the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. for more info 812-273-0556.
