Sealed with a Sip

Thu February 12 @ 6:30 pm
$50

Join Historic Madison, Inc. for a romantic evening on February 12, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Shrewsbury-Windle House as they celebrate love through time. Sealed with a Sip: A Night of Wine, Letters & Love invites couples to step into the past with heartfelt stories and hands-on creativity. Tickets are $50.00 ($45 for HMI members) per couple and are available via Madtix at: https://bit.ly/SealedSip. Advanced registration is required. Ticket sales end on February 7.

Enjoy a bottle of sweet white wine from Stream Cliff Winery as you explore some of Madison’s most charming stories, historic wedding photos, and love letters. Couples will also be given a private tour of the Shrewsbury-Windle House, showcasing unique artifacts connected to Madison’s history. Then, take part in memorable activities designed to help you and your partner create your own love story keepsakes.

Called the “best of the best” of America’s Greek Revival buildings, the Shrewsbury-Windle House features a soaring 3-story spiral staircase, 16-foot ceilings, intricate plaster moldings, and ornately carved stone details. Completed in 1849 by architect Francis Costigan, the 13-room mansion features perhaps the most original pre-Civil War Drawing Rooms in the US. The Shrewsbury, Walker, and Windle families lived here for 160 years. Their love for the home still radiates from the walls of this award-winning restoration.

This is a 21+ event. Advanced registration is required.

Parking is on city streets in a primarily residential neighborhood. Please allow time to find a parking place and walk to the venue.
