Fall In Love With Madison

It’s been a hot summer and fall is right around the corner. We’ve been getting a little tease of fall with cooler evening temperatures and this weekend we are expecting cooler daytime temperatures, too. Don’t be sad to see the end of summer because fall is so beautiful here in Madison and there are so many fun things to do.

This is how we kick off the fall season in Madison on the last weekend of September:

Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art: One of our favorite events and Indiana’s premier outdoor juried fine arts & crafts show. The streets are full of beautiful arts & crafts, great food and festive atmosphere.   This year, you’ll see more than 225 artists, a Demonstration Village (an Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project) portraying art throughout Indiana’s history, a Chalk Walk with varying artists creating in real time, and more.  September 28-29

Fall Old Court Days around the courthouse square: September 27-29 featuring arts, crafts, collectibles and more!

Harvest Celebration: September 28-29 at Lanthier Winery. Arts & crafts and WINE!

If this is how we kick off our fall season, imagine what comes next!

Fall old court days sounds interesting. I love seeing local history brought back to life.
