Free Routes

The Madison Trolley Line is excited to launch our new free loops!

Available to both locals and visitors, these convenient routes make it easy to explore Downtown Madison at no cost. Simply hop on or hop off at any of the designated stops along the way. Just keep an eye out for the trolley stop signs throughout town.

Please note: there will be no deviations from the designated routes. Average loop time is 20 minutes, meaning you can expect the trolley at that stop every 20 minutes.

Free for a Follow will be a hop-on, hop-off route on May 9th to celebrate our community, businesses, residents, and visitors who all help Madison the destination it is. The route will run from 6-9PM, and all you have to do is show that you’re following the Madison Trolley Line on either Facebook or Instagram to ride for free – that easy!

Fourth Fridays will begin May 23rd and run the 4th Friday of each month from 5-9PM. If you are a business interested in sponsoring a Fourth Friday, please reach out to [email protected].

Summer Sundays will begin Memorial Day through Labor Day, running every Sunday from Noon-5PM.
