Our First Blog

July 12, 2012 By VisitMadison 1 Comment

Well, here we go. VisitMadison is entering the blog community. We will be writing about a variety of things – like downtown happenings, recreation, family fun, shopping, dining and the local art scene. There will be guest bloggers giving you the inside info on various events and regular bloggers who have a special area of interest.

You’ll get to know them as we move along. They will help you to discover things you might not know about Madison & Jefferson County and keep you in–the-know.

We’re just getting started so let us know what you are interested in and what you would like to see. We’re open to suggestions!

Our first Blogger is BeeJay Elles, he is a Madison native and lives downtown. BeeJay is married to Angela and they have a cutie named Maggie. BeeJay is an artist and graphic designer – not too long ago, he and Maggie had a father/daughter art show….cookies and milk were served.

BeeJay and family will be one of our regular bloggers. They’ll be telling you about the growing local art scene. Everything you’d like to know about galleries, openings, performance art, music and more.

Due to Covid19, we encourage you to check the status of any Madison establishment prior to visiting. Retail & restaurant hours subject to change, please call ahead.
