Sunday 3/11:
The Fireside Series at Thomas Family Winery featuring the welsh band “Calan”
The OVCS and Thomas Family Winery is proud to present the neo-traditional Welsh band
”Calan” from 5-7pm. Highly popular throughout the British Isles and Europe, this band has
appeared with Sting, won the prestigious “International Folk Band of the Year Award”, and
many other honors among its 6 albums. 208 E. Second Street, Madison.
 

Tuesday 3/13:
A Celtic Symposium at The History Center | Jefferson County Historical Society
Settle into your seats for a light-hearted, fun and educational evening of topics presented by experts of Celtic life and history. Topics will touch on local influence on architecture and culture, food and drink, etc. Free to public, light refreshments at 6:00 pm, program begins at 6:30 pm. Thursday 3/15:
OVCS Movie Night at The Ohio Theatre featuring “The Commitments”
A group of young Irish musicians decide to form an R&B band, right out of Detroit! Complications, hilarity
and Wilson Pickett! Donations at Door, Adult Beverages! 6:30 pm doors open and 7:00 pm start. For

Friday 3/16:
City of Madison’s Kick-Off to St. Patrick’s Day
Madison salutes its Irish heritage with an evening of downtown entertainment in classic “pub crawl” form! “A Taste of Ireland” passport, Irish dishes at local restaurants, contests, dancers, and much more. A Taste of Ireland Trolley Crawl begins at 5 pm at the Mulberry & Second Street Parking Lot (Across from Thomas Family Winery).
