Hanover College
Indiana’s First Private College
Hanover College is a private liberal arts college located in Hanover, Indiana, overlooking the Ohio River. Founded in 1827, it is the oldest private college in Indiana.
Hanover has a long-standing offers a range of undergraduate degrees in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and business. The campus spans over 600 scenic acres and is known for its picturesque views and historic architecture. Graduate programs were recently added in a few additional fields as well.

Hanover College boasts a number of notable alumni who have made significant contributions across various fields. They include the former Governor of Indiana and 21st Vice President of the United States Thomas Hendricks as well as renowned actor Woody Harrelson.
Its athletic teams, known as the Hanover Panthers, compete in the NCAA Division III within the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
