Earnest and Art

Earnest and Art
November 23, 2013 Visit Madison

Escape the stresses of the holidays by enjoying the hilarious play by Oscar Wilde, “The Importance of Being Earnest,” starting today through Sunday, November 24. At 7:30 p.m. at Hanover College’s Parker Auditorium.

Prefer a matinee? There is a matinee on Saturday, November 23 at 2 p.m. Tickets are just $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for youth. Call the box office at 812-866-7110 to order your tickets.

This evening take a stroll down Madison’s Main Street for the 4th Friday Art Jam. You can peruse a variety of the art, music, and galleries from 5 to 8 p.m. No need to browse hungry, stop in any number of restaurants or cafés for a bite to eat or a hot drink.

When you reach the Village Lights Bookstore, visit the art opening for The Color of Dreams. Jenny Straub Youngblood opens her show in our Twain Room Gallery – exploring conflicting qualities, the contrast of light and dark, good and evil, truth and a lie, through moments perceived in the mind of the artist as pockets of perfection in an imperfect world.
