Join in on Saturday, March 9, 2024, for a brunch event open to the public and the Hanover College community, including alums, staff, and students. The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Withrow Activities Center in the J. Graham Brown Campus Center. Sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations, it presents an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with like-minded individuals while enjoying a delicious brunch.

Schedule:

• 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Networking Opportunities and Free Professional Headshots
  Local photographer Nina Campbell will be available to provide a complimentary professional headshot. Final photos will be emailed to the account of the file.
  • Appetizers: Mimosas, crostini with whipped ricotta, caramelized onions, and pea shoots; a crostini with fig and feta with micro greens; and a salmon mousse canape.
• 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.: Brunch

  • Assorted breakfast breadboard with a variety of jams

• 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.:  Panel Discussion
  The event’s main objective is to focus on mental wellness and self-care. The panel will cover various topics, including the warning signs of anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, and the common challenges that people face in maintaining their mental health. The attendees will receive strategies for addressing or preventing mental wellness concerns and mindfulness tips to incorporate into their daily routines. The panel discussion will include the following experts:

  • Elaine Kops-Bedel ’74, Chair, first female Hanover College Board of Trustees Chair, first secretary and chief executive officer of the Indiana Destination Development Corporation (IDDC), president and chief executive officer of Bedel Financial Consulting, Inc. Elaine Kops-Bedel will serve as the moderator for the panel discussion.
