The Madison Trolley has been a cherished feature of Madison, Indiana, for over three decades, offering residents and visitors a unique way to explore the city’s historic charm. The trolley service has been instrumental in facilitating tours of the community, historic sites, and local businesses.

To further improve the trolley service, VMI and the City of Madison acquired a new 30-passenger trolley in late 2024, and intend to facilitate tours, support conferences, and serve as a connector to Hanover College and the hilltop area. A second brand-new, ADA-accessible trolley is expected to arrive in mid-2025, expanding the service’s capacity and inclusivity.

Whether a wedding, progressive dinner, family reunion, school activities, or curated experience, adding the Madison Trolley will enhance any event.
