Madison is known for its 133 block downtown historic district filled with specialty shops, restaurants and cafes.  One of the things that makes our shopping district unique is that all the shops are locally owned and operated.  This means that you get a personal shopping experience with unbeatable hospitality.

You can find handmade items, made in Madison gifts, beautiful Madison-made bath & body products, a chocolatier that is an Indiana Artisan, home décor, toy store and more.  There are clothing boutiques for men, women and children – all in our downtown.

Our beautiful downtown is easy to stroll with benches and outdoor cafes ready when you need to take a break.
