20th Annual Madison Municipal Air Show
September 23, 2021 Visit Madison

Requesting landing clearance for an out-of-this-world weekend at the 20th Annual Madison Air Show! Come out on Saturday, September 25, 2021, starting at 10AM to experience everything from static aircraft displays, airplane and helicopter rides, aerobatic performances, delicious food, live music, and more! There will definitely be something fun for everyone at this whirlwind weekend event.

Have you ever wanted to feel like you’re on top of the world? Now is your chance! There will be four different airplanes and helicopters to choose from to take the sky-high ride of a lifetime! Experience a piece of history with the star of the show, a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress “Yankee Lady.” Only nine B-17s are still flying in the entire world and this is 1 of only 3 still giving rides! Yankee Lady will be on display and available for tours and rides. There will also be a 500hp 1941 Boeing Super Stearman vintage World War II plane where you can “relive the early days of the barnstormers” for an adrenaline-pumping 15 minutes!

Ever been interested in learning to fly? Take this opportunity to talk to the experts at Kentucky Flight Training Center where you can take the controls during a Discovery Flight or sign up for your first lesson out of the Madison Municipal Airport! You’ll also be able to learn more about different programs around the region if you’re an aspiring career pilot, specifically the Flight Academy from Indiana State University!

Travel back in time with live musical performances by the Ladies For Liberty! This singing troupe will spirit you back to the 1940s with their songs and style! The Ladies for Liberty will have 4 shows starting at 10:30am and will be singing the National Anthem prior to the start of the aerobatic performances.

Admission to this event is a monetary donation, as large or small as you would like. Parking is extremely limited due to the rain, but there will be off-field parking with a FREE shuttle to the airport once the airport parking is full. Catch ya out on the ramp!
