Ida Clare, from Louisville, KY plays a diverse mix of Bluegrass, Americana, and Newgrass, with an abundance of original material. The members of the band, mandolin player and songwriter Jim Wheatley, powerhouse vocalist Lea Cockrell, banjo player Robin Thixton, and bassist Nick Stevens, are no strangers to performing. Nearly everyone is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist and the depth of both stage and studio experience is obvious. This is the group that you don’t want to miss.
